June 7, Mann Park entered the 4-step return to play under the guidelines of Bowls BC. The club is pleased to resume afternoon draws as well as league and aggregate play.
Mann Park offers casual drop-in games Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday afternoons at 1:30 p.m.
For afternoon draws, players are asked to have their draw tags to the draw master by 1:15 p.m. The draw master will draw teams according to the number of players.
Evening Pairs Draws
Drop-in pairs games are played on Tuesday and Saturday evenings at 6:00 p.m.
Pairs are asked to arrive by 5:50 p.m. at which time there will be a draw to see which rink teams will play on. If an odd number of pairs arrive, triples will be played on one rink.
Each rink can make the choice to play either regular pairs game or Aussie pairs.
Another form of casual drop-in bowling is called an aggregate. Aggregate bowling is offered Monday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. and Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. Please have draw tags in by 1:15 p.m. and 9:45 a.m. respectively.
Cost is $1 per person, per game. Points are awarded for total wins and total points scored. The money is disbursed in prizes based on the accumulated wins and points at the end of the season.
Thursday Evening Aussie Pairs League
This league starts Thursday June 17 and will run for 6 weeks, ending July 29. There will be no league play on July 1, Canada Day.
