On Sunday, we welcomed 14 lawn bowlers from Tsawwassen for our first visitation of the season. The clouds parted for awhile and we enjoyed some sunny White Rock weather on the greens. Thanks to Ed Hooper for coordinating the games. A great time was had by all.

Martha McArthur and her team served a delicious high tea that was enjoyed between games. Pat Macdonald baked scrumptious scones and Martha’s lemon tarts were a real hit. Bowlers enjoyed the sandwiches saying they were a welcome change from having just a sweet.

Thanks to everyone who helped make our day a success: Jim Carter, Franco Canil, David Drayson for set up; Pat Macdonald, Sharron Lyons, and Martha McArthur in the kitchen and Heidi Hendess for clean-up. Hilary Callihoo, Sharon Avery, and Barb McLeod were our 50/50 ladies. And, of course, Ed Hooper our games coordinator.
