New Novice Champion:  After a tense, 2.5 hour battle, a new champion was crowned.  Arnie Holand defeated Harold Hendess in a fine display of good play and friendly competition.  It was a great match to watch.

Congratulations to all the new bowlers who took part in this Club Championship.

Take a look at the new sign on the Clubhouse.  I think the sign shows the Club in a new, fresh look and will look great from the road, when the hedges come down.

The up-graded audio system will be installed August 13, with professional quality wireless microphone and speakers.  The tuner and 6 disc CD, kindly donated to the Club, will be installed at the same time.

Planning for the green up-grade continues.  At a meeting tonight, the Executive Committee members able to attend, will hear from and ask questions of, John Findlay and Bob, of Centre Point Surveys, about what might be possible to completely level the green this Fall.
